Conversations rarely go exactly where you expect. That’s rather the point.
Out of the Blue is a podcast about leadership, change and the forces reshaping the way we work and live.
Hosted by David Craig and Tony Craddock, each episode brings them together with remarkable people to explore the experiences, decisions, successes, failures and unexpected moments that have shaped what they know.
Why Out of the Blue?
The world rarely follows the plan.
Businesses change. Technology changes. Markets change. People change. And sometimes the moments that matter most arrive completely out of the blue. We’re interested in what happens next.
How do people respond when the assumptions change? How do they make decisions when there isn’t an obvious answer? What did experience teach them that the textbooks didn’t?
Out of the Blue creates space for those conversations.
No ten-point formulas for guaranteed success and no pretending anybody has all the answers. Just thoughtful conversations with people worth listening to.
David & Tony
DAVID
CRAIG
David Craig is the former CEO of Refinitiv and author of Bluebook: A Blueprint for Business Transformation and Growth.
He led one of the most ambitious transformations in financial information, taking Refinitiv through its carve-out from Thomson Reuters and ultimately its acquisition by London Stock Exchange Group.
His experience spans technology, data, financial markets, sustainability and large-scale business transformation.
But Out of the Blue isn’t simply about looking backwards at what worked.
David is interested in what leaders are facing now, what comes next, and what we can learn from people who’ve had to make difficult decisions when the answer wasn’t obvious.
TONY
CRADDOCK
Tony Craddock founded The Payments Association and has spent much of his career bringing together the people changing how money moves.
His network spans fintech founders, established financial institutions, policymakers, regulators, investors and innovators.
That gives Tony an unusual vantage point on how industries evolve, how ideas gain momentum and how people turn possibility into progress.
He also likes asking questions. Quite a lot of them.
Which turns out to be useful on a podcast.
